Los indicadores microbiol\u00f3gicos, son microorganismos cuya presencia o ausencia en el agua sirve como se\u00f1al de posible contaminaci\u00f3n por otros agentes da\u00f1inos, su funci\u00f3n es dar una medida indirecta del riesgo para la salud.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"border: 0px; La t\u00e9cnica de fermentaci\u00f3n en tubos m\u00faltiples consiste en utilizar una serie de tubos con un\u00a0<\/span><a style=\"border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; transition: color 0.1s ease-in-out, background-color 0.1s ease-in-out; color: #1e73be;\" href=\"https:\/\/solmeglas.com\/medios-de-cultivo-que-son-funcionalidades-calidad\/\">medio de cultivo<\/a><span style=\"border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\" data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0llamado caldo lauril sulfato, dise\u00f1ado para favorecer el crecimiento de bacterias coliformes presentes en el agua. Su presencia en el agua indica contaminaci\u00f3n fecal y la posible existencia de otros agentes capaces de provocar enfermedades.\u00a0&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p style=\"margin-bottom: 1.5em; color: #000000; font-family: -apple-system, system-ui, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol'; font-size: 17px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"&gt;&lt;i&gt;Escherichia coli&lt;\/i&gt;, indica contaminaci\u00f3n reciente, porque no sobrevive mucho tiempo en el ambiente, ni frente al cloro ni a la radiaci\u00f3n ultravioleta. Enterococos fecales, indica contaminaci\u00f3n persistente, ya que son m\u00e1s resistentes, sobreviven m\u00e1s d\u00edas frente al cloro, radiaci\u00f3n UV, altas temperaturas e incluso en ambientes salinos, su detecci\u00f3n permite a las autoridades y usuarios tomar decisiones sobre el uso del agua, implementar medidas de control o evitar su consumo cuando representa un riesgo.\u00a0&lt;\/p&gt;&lt;p style=\"margin-bottom: 1.5em; color: #000000; font-family: -apple-system, system-ui, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol'; font-size: 17px; font-style: normal; font-weight: 400;\"&gt;&lt;i&gt;Escherichia coli se detecta\u00a0&lt;\/i&gt;mediante la t\u00e9cnica de fermentaci\u00f3n en tubos m\u00faltiples (NMP\/100 ml) o por filtraci\u00f3n por membrana (UFC\/100 ml), en tanto, Enterococos fecales: mediante filtraci\u00f3n por membrana (UFC\/100 ml). La t\u00e9cnica de fermentaci\u00f3n en tubos m\u00faltiples consiste en utilizar una serie de tubos con un\u00a0&lt;a style=\"border: 0px; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; transition: color 0.1s ease-in-out, background-color 0.1s ease-in-out; color: #1e73be;\" href=\"https:\/\/solmeglas.com\/medios-de-cultivo-que-son-funcionalidades-calidad\/\"&gt;medio de cultivo&lt;\/a&gt;\u00a0llamado caldo lauril sulfato, dise\u00f1ado para favorecer el crecimiento de bacterias coliformes presentes en el agua. Al finalizar este proceso: Los tubos con turbidez se someten a luz ultravioleta. Una vez finalizada la filtraci\u00f3n, la membrana se coloca sobre una placa con el medio de cultivo adecuado, dependiendo del indicador microbiol\u00f3gico que se desee evaluar (por
