El Maestro Luis Medina se encuentra en el CIRA\/UNAN-Managua realizando una misi\u00f3n de hermanamiento dirigida a la aplicaci\u00f3n del modelo AQUATOX a los resultados del monitoreo del R\u00edo Tipitapa, cuerpo de agua seleccionado para la ejecuci\u00f3n en Nicaragua del Proyecto RLA 7\/019. Acerca del modelo AQUATOX AQUATOX es un modelo de simulaci\u00f3n de ecosistemas que predice el destino de diversos contaminantes, como el exceso de nutrientes y sustancias qu\u00edmicas org\u00e1nicas, y sus efectos sobre los ecosistemas acu\u00e1ticos, incluyendo peces, invertebrados y plantas acu\u00e1ticas.
